PK : A film against Superstition not GOD or Hinduism

Amir Khan's and Raju Hirani's new venture PK has been released and i was craving to watch it as soon as possible . Unfortunately i could not make it early .

Amir Khan is one of few film actors who is believed to be making sensible movies for last 20 years or so when other well know actors are just making 200 crore nonsense movies . This fact was compelling me to watch the movie.

Meanwhile , before I could watch the film , I could see much talked social trends like on social media that PK is a anti Hinduism film and tries to malign  the image of Hindu Gods and believes. The situation becomes more serious when the lead actor is Muslim , Amir.

We have Hindus , Muslims and Sikhs and Christians as major communities in India along with other religions like Buddhism and Jainism. While film tries to burst  the myths of all the religions then how it becomes anti Hindu ?

What is there in the film : Films starts with an alian arriving on mother planet earth and tries to go back but could not do .  He lost is gadget, remote control , which could have helped him to go back home . While trying to find his lost remote control , Alian aka PK comes to know the concept of God and made to believe that only god could help him to find hist lost remote control . PK goes to every man made home of god and does all rituals of every religion to make it to remote control but could not find it .

While doing all this , He comes across many superstitions in all the religions and tries to explain the facts like how it is wrong . PK compels you for introspection .

Why you think PK is anti Hindu : PK rips apart the myths in all religion but mainly focuses on Hinduism , knowingly or unknowingly ,  as the film progresses . All those who strongly believe in superstition are trying to project it as anti Hindu but its not . Even if it does so , All Hindus should be grateful to Amir that he showed how we can relinquish the myths of Hinduism and make it even better religion . If you say Islam has more bad rituals than Hinduism then you are trying to escape from your responsibility . Try to change yourself first before asking others to change .

Things to remember : Let us go through the facts of the film .

1. PK wants you to believe in GOD , not in superstitions .
2. Religions are man made . No one comes in world with a stamp of religion .
3. Its better to make the people happy around you rather than searching for the god .
4. It shows how religion is kind of business these days and operates on the basis of fear among people.
5. Sentiments for religion has become more relevant than human relations .

Kejriwal and IITians in BJP

We often come across the AAP supporter saying that Arvind Kejriwal is and IITian and hence he is better than other politicians .

I believe , though a well educated politician may a better choice,  having a high qualification does not give you any edge over other to be a best politician . We have seen UPA ministers and some of them were highly qualified including Manmohan Singh but they could not do justification with their degrees .

Anyways , If being an IITian is anything to  boast of , what about below ministers in Modi cabinet .
  1. Manohar Parrikar -IIT Mumbai
  2. Jayant Sinha - IIT Delhi and degree from Harvard University .
  3. Rajnath Singh - Masters in physics
  4. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathor - Olympic Gold Medalist
  5. V . K. Singh - Ex army General
  6. Harshvardhan - MBBS
  7. Najma heptullah - PhD in cardiac anatomy
  8. Suresh Prabhu - Charted Accountant
  9. Manoj sinha - B tech ( Electrical )
  10. Hansraaj Ahir - Whistle blower in Coal Scam
Last but not the least , there are countless  prominent advocates in BJP and in the Modi cabinet like Subramanian Swami who is PhD from Harvard .

Manohar Parrikar is one of the IITians in BJP who has also run a goverment in a best possible way for more than 10 years and under his tenure, Goa has been 3 times choosen the best run state by many government and private surveys .

Delhi Elections round the corner

Height of being opportunistic. ..

Arvind kejriwal saying that people of the country want Modi as PM and him as CM of delhi .

Yes , it was a correct theory 12 months ago. But now .....

Dear Mr. Kejriwal ,

Can you please answer few questions before taking advantage of Modi's Fame .

  1. Where was this theory gone when you resigned as delhi CM ?
  2. What were you thinking when you went to Varanasi against Modi ?
  3. Was it not the backstabbing for people of Delhi when you went to become PM and resigned as CM ?
  4. You went to Gujrat and tried to create doubts about the work done by Modi there , just to win elections .
  5. Though you claim to be a different kind of party with different ideology than BJP and congress , Is it not that you are trying to malign the image of PM for any reason and opposing him for anything just because you are in opposition.
  6.  What will you do if you get 34 seats in Delhi,2 short of majority, in coming elections ,  Will you ask for polls again ?

Poverty in the world and our responsibilties

It was an absolute shock for me after knowing that 80 percent of the world population is poorer than me . I earn around US $ 25 per day and more than 55 billion (80 percent of world population) earn less than US $10 per day.

According to an estimate of UNICEF , 22000 children die everyday due to poverty and we are not aware of this, living happily in our world . These poor people are deprived of basic needs like safe drinking water, sanitation , shelter and food .

So what we can do about this misery of the world ?

Its very simple ,Helping hands are better than praying lips,  just distribute your happiness among the deprived . How ?

Motivate the people by helping them financially and mentally . If you have extra than what is needed to lead a normal life then distribute some small part of your happiness among your brothers and sisters of the world .

It does not matter how many times you go to Hajj , Vetican or Char Dham , if someone is dying due to hunger in your neighborhood , No God is going to help you to get into heaven .

Let them believe in Karma like an actor did in below video .

A big salute to actor Varun Pruthi just not for distributing money among the poor but for inspiring all of us .

Video credit goes to actor Varun and his YouTube channel .
